This should be mandatory when taking driving lessons

There is something a little wrong with us as parents when we are in a rush to get our kids to school. Let's all arrive safely, whether it is by #bike, #walking car or by public transportation.

Going to the grocery store is a chore, and if you have kids, you seem to live in the grocery store. Biking makes the chore fun, and heck parking is a breeze.

I know as parents we are busy, and it can be exhausting getting our children to and from school, but everyone needs to get to school safely.

My son came home yesterday and exclaimed after a harrowing moment crossing his bicycle on foot across the road "parents in cars are insane, you have to wait for a teacher in a car to stop at an intersection." #slowdown #noneedtorush
