On Wednesday, January 28, from 10:10 am, writer and screenwriter Alice Urciuolo will join students from ITA351H5S (Creative Writing in Italian Studies) for a Q&A (in Italian & English) via Zoom. The conversation will focus on her coming-of-age novel “Adorazione” (Adoration).

Dr. Kao is a cultural worker, art critic, and curator based in Toronto. His work focuses on the relationship between art and politics and the history of modern Chinese art, and he has curated exhibitions of World War II artifacts drawn from his extensive private collection.

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. Join us on Nov 25, 5–7pm in CDRS (MN 3230), as Dr. Yaohsing (Jason) Kao leads us to engage in reflection and dialogue on the broader human and historical dimensions of the conflict.
