Genuine question to the ladies, as they understand this situation best, what is it about hijab being obligated that rub women the wrong way but if salah was to be enforced, or zakat etc no one has an issue but when it comes to modesty being enforced you guys start complaining -

As a diaspora HIJABI I feel like I have room to talk here. You have the privilige and the curse to be living outside of your country. You have a much more autonomy over wearing or not wearing the hijab. That isnt yhe case for everyone.
