Back in 2021 @mattwadd wrote the below blog post and @mengwong took an example from that post and wrote it in L4. I’m now sitting with Matthew while he learns L4 using that same example while Meng instructs from the front at #CLAWCON Loop closed!

@verbman You identify (pun intended) the fundamental technical issue in digitization of law. In the United States Legislative Markup (USLM), we have both ids and identifiers, though identifiers are only published in the latest version of the standard. blog.linkedlegislation.com/2013-06-27-uui…

@verbman The best way through the maze is an #AkomaNtoso toolchain. OASIS LegalDocML 1.0 was voted Aug 2018, recreating the wheel is waste, let's get past the basics. With Akoma Ntoso the components can be developed independently worldwide. YES to dark mode. TY for bring this up.

@esbranson Dark mode forever. What I'm asking for is not dependent on a flavour of XML as demonstrated. It would also aid migrations between formats/to LegalDocML. Demonstrating if LegalDocML could be used to generate these references as I am would be a fun next step.
