@lukebayes Every once in a while, someone will ask me to use Skype or Microsoft Teams. And every single time, as I am rushing to get online to the meeting, it forces me to go through a mind numbing update, forgot password, recover password, install routine. Every single time.

If your product does this, and you haven't been punched in the gut in awhile, please punch yourself in the gut for me. Especially if we're friends. If you know someone who's responsible for a product like this, give them a friendly punch to the gut and tell them it's from me.

There are better and worse times to force a software update I don't want or need, but there is ONE particular moment that brings the rage for me. That is the very moment when I express my desire to use your product. Like opening a tab, launching your OS, or starting your game.
