Why do I lose all interest in a work of art when I learn that it was created using AI? When I see or hear a work of art or music, I often wonder how it was made, who is behind it, and how it was created. For a moment, I put myself in the creator's shoes and try to imagine how they managed to achieve this result. Sometimes I know, sometimes I don't, and that amazes me even more. But when it’s generated by AI, that feeling is broken for me, because something that no human understands enters into the creative process. So I may find a work great at first glance, but when I learn that it was made with AI, I lose what brings the most interest to art: empathy.
