@ian4downton Go to independents over these. May not be much difference in price, but at least it's going to a better place

@andrewwoodroffe If they wanted to expand they could've done a half marathon on the Saturday using some of the closed route. Then perhaps if you have no prior experience you can only enter the half

@jgault13 Should've done a half marathon on the Saturday and the full on the Sunday. Double the spectacle rather than dilute the day.

Interesting idea...there is an insane level of demand to run London (1.1 million applications for 2026), though a two-day race would still produce a less than 10% acceptance rate (assuming demand holds). Elite men's and women's races would be held on separate days.

“Gesture eggs” What does that even mean? When was it decided the word “Easter” needed replacing? For centuries Easter has been part of Britain’s calendar, not a gesture, not a seasonal moment. This isn’t inclusivity. It’s corporate rebranding that strips meaning out of tradition. Britain deserves better.

Britain has been a Christian nation for over 1,400 years. Through wars, plagues, and countless kings, Easter has always been celebrated. Yet now, Cadbury won’t even use the word ‘Easter’ on their eggs. When did celebrating British traditions become controversial?

There is something very sad about the region which lost the most to Brexit choosing to vote for a party that is exclusively run by those who inflicted it on them. Lemmings that simply can’t help themselves.

Covering 3% of the UK with solar would generate as much electricity as the UK uses in a year. We have the solutions.

This is the biggest reform to our Parliament in a generation. 🇬🇧 This morning, the 700-year-old system of hereditary membership in the House of Lords was abolished. Membership is now earned through public service and merit, not granted by an inheritance. ✅

I dont think being overly emotional is particularly helpful when it comes to matters of the law but for the first time since becoming an MP I am genuinely sad about what parliament has done. I am sad because I know what the consequences will be. I am sad because I know nervous first time parents might give way to doubt and opt out of parenthood and how the reality of that means they'll be denied the greatest gift life will ever give them and instead inherit a life of monstrous guilt. I am sad because, now, healthy babies will be destroyed. I am really sorry that the UK has legalised full term abortion. For what it's worth, I voted NO. I am going to squeeze my children a little tighter and thank the universe a little more than normal this morning. You cannot become unpregnant. You just become the parent of a child you killed. That is the reality of life. We must face it. My babies.

The House of Lords have voted narrowly in favour of allowing abortion up-to-birth in England & Wales. The only solace is that one day they will meet Jesus.

I’d like to know all your opinions in the comments? I’ve just paid £1.70 a litre for diesel. Why are we not opening up our gas and oil field in the North Sea? Surely by opening these and sourcing from our own reserves, we will bring our prices of fuel down, energy costs down, create jobs, bring revenue and tax into the UK economy that can be spent on the roads, the NHS, UK services and schools. We continue to source our fuel from abroad and it makes no sense to me! We should be backing our UK manufacturing and not let it go abroad! We live in very uncertain times especially what’s going on in the Middle East. Love to hear your opinion, let’s back Britain 🇬🇧 - Bosh ❤️

@wallisdanny @Predamame I was mistaken about the Thanos snap dipping out, 7th stuck around on the podium. Looked a little into it; he had his own personal/religious reasons unrelated to the entire situation. Props to the guy for sticking to his beliefs.
