at this point the witch hunting going on towards fic writers in the name of “weeding out” ai fics is actively harming fandom culture in a significantly worse way than ai fics are. we’re losing real human writers because of it. anyone who’s participated should be ashamed.

except authors can do whatever they want with their works for whatever reason they want

just 8 hours ago one of the most talented fic writers in the fandom did a very good post addressing this exact same behavior and explaining why they're taking down their fics then someone proceeded to do this mmm yeah i think this went too far

MS4s, known for having doctor badges and discussing their shiny new resident salaries. I'm going to burn down this fucking site

@ripleyesque And for the fucking record yes I also always present first to the 1st year resident I'm most comfortable whenever possible but I guess pittwt knows better than my attendings

@ripleyesque I am an MS4 who presents daily to first year residents and am being told to my face by ppl who haven't been anywhere near the medical workforce that this is apparently wrong and that MS4s rotating in the EM department are somehow being given doctor badges with resident salaries

@exvichan @ripleyesque He's a resident. He is an EM resident. A first year EM resident. THEY DON'T GIVE OUT EMERGENCY MEDICINE DOCTOR BADGES TO MS4S OR PAY THEM LIKE EMERGENCY MEDICINE DOCTORS.

@zegljackets @LeiselHughes @ripleyesque Javadi presented to Whitaker because he's her closest rank. The same reason why Ogilvie and Joy stuck so close to Javadi because she's their closest rank. There is overlap yes especially in a busy ER but it's always expected to first present to your closest rank

@zegljackets @LeiselHughes @ripleyesque We med students take history, we do PE, we come up with a treatment plan, they order the treatment plan, and make orders for said treatment plan which is then countersigned and approved by a resident. It can't be countersigned and approved without presenting to said resident

@SapphicFloweer @LeiselHughes @ripleyesque An intern is a first year resident in the US hospital system. Med students present to their nearest level, that being first year residents. She's also the one she's most comfortable with which is how presenting also works in real life.
