I am a US citizen & Surgeon who took care of the Boston Maraton Bombing victims in 2013. I paid for 7 years to own a small apartment in downtown #Beirut for my 3 kids to enjoy summers there. Today, #Israel reduced my dream home to rubble, with american weapons, paid by my taxes.

The only reason to bomb anything 40 min apart is to kill the rescuers. Doing that to an elementary school is beyond depraved. The United States is the most evil entity on the planet
Ben Norton@BenjaminNorton

Reuters confirmed that the elementary school in the Iranian city of Minab was bombed TWICE by the US military, 40 minutes apart. This was intentional. You don't "accidentally" bomb a school TWO TIMES. 168 children and 14 teachers were killed. It was a massacre.

🚨 NBC: Trump administration officials confirmed to Congress in a closed-door briefing that the US was responsible for targeting the area where an Iranian girls’ school was struck. Scores of children killed. Not Iran. Not a misfire. Not collateral damage from someone else. Us. The White House posted bomb videos like highlight reels. Hegseth bragged about “death and destruction from the sky all day long.” Trump did a victory lap this morning. And behind closed doors — they told Congress we killed children at a school. This is now confirmed by the administration itself. Say their names.

I know this isn’t the main story or key point today but remember that billions of dollars are being effortlessly expended today bombing a country, which Americans don’t support and no US lawmaker voted for. Remember that next time they tell you there is no money for healthcare.

The percentage of child dead in the Ukrainian conflict is 0.3%. Zero point three per cent. The percentage of child dead in the Gaza conflict is 37.7%. Thirty seven point seven per cent. In a single statistic, there you have the difference between a war and a genocide.

This is Linda Davis, a special education teacher who was killed in a car crash involving ICE agents The agents didn’t render aid. She was minutes from her school and bled to death in her car. They didn’t offer aid to Renee Good or Alex Pretti either. Say her name too.

It may seem controversial to some of you but I think the acceptable amount of time for children to be in prisons or concentration camps is zero fucking days

1-year-old Amalia and her family were sent to Texas' Dilley immigration detention center, where they were detained for 60 days — joining families that have been held for durations that advocates say exceed the limits established by federal court rulings. abcnews.link/f6zTAFx

I don’t know if anyone still cares, but today alone 28 people were killed, among them my friend and his family, without any guilt. This is no longer breaking news, but a scene that repeats itself every day. They talk about a ceasefire, yet what we live through is continuous death, continuous lies, and deadly silence. We are living the worst days of our lives, literally. No safety, no mercy, and no end in sight. How long will we keep counting the dead and being buried with them psychologically every single day? What is more brutal than the killing itself is that when we went to bury my friend and his family, we couldn’t even find a stretcher to carry the bodies. There is no medical equipment in hospitals, and no building materials to make a grave. A human being is killed for no reason, and after death there is no grave, no dignity. Even saying goodbye has become impossible. Our lives here are turning into a real hell, day after day. What is called a ceasefire is nothing but a trick to numb the world and calm the headlines. Speak about what is happening to us. Write. Share. Your posts make a difference and create real pressure.

What Mamdani probably needs to do: - meet with the Chakraborty family, alongside DRUM - tell Tisch the shooting must be investigated - release a statement saying he's heartbroken by the NYPD's treatment of the family & calling for a full investigation into the shooting

Mayor Adams vetoed the Community Opportunity to Purchase Act, but the bill has majority support and a new mayor ready to sign it. Tenants deserve the chance to own the buildings they call home. A real path to social housing and a permanently affordable NYC. City Council must override the veto. Let’s go.
