the good thing about poly is theres no influencer that saves you. the market resolves itself

quick thing about reading polymarket markets: always check the resolution criteria before you trade. ive seen people lose money on markets they were technically "right" about because the wording was specific in a way they didnt notice. the small print is the whole game sometimes

@GoneFishin8gain @_jackie011 @UKFREEDOMUNITE You do realize when I bought the binary trigger it was like less than a year old. Yes, the people that buy the iPhone right when it comes out pay more than the people who buy the iPhone 2 years after it came out. This is just basic market economics.

what bothers me about some poly markets is knowing youre right but the timing kills you anyway

people laughing at polymarket are the same ones believing the polls

the reason polymarket feels different from sports betting even though mechanically theyre similar is that the markets are about things that actually matter. elections, policy, conflicts, prices. youre forced to engage with reality in a way sportsbooks never make you

the longer you watch markets the more you realize that "patience" is just a fancy word for being bored on purpose

the trick to staying sane while watching markets is to separate "interesting" from "actionable." most of what happens in any given day is interesting and not actionable. confusing the two is how you trade yourself into a hole. boredom is a feature

the problem with watching odds all day is you start thinking in probabilities for everything. like ordering food
