Jake Buxton has been appointed as the new Manager of local non-league side Alfreton Town. Buxton will continue his work at Moor Farm on a part-time basis for two days per week whilst the club undertakes the process of appointing a replacement.

Absolutely flat behind that net today, no atmosphere at all. Wanted to get behind the lads but it was a massive struggle. Feel like we’ve had the heart ripped out of our club, no chance to say thanks or goodbye to two people we care about isn’t sitting well at all with us #ATFC
