Cheesy Beef Stuffed Shells 🍝🧀
Ingredients
Pasta & Filling:
•20–24 jumbo pasta shells
•1 lb (450g) ground beef
•2 cloves garlic, minced
•1 cup ricotta cheese
•1 cup shredded mozzarella (plus extra for topping)
•¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
•1 egg
•½ tsp salt
•½ tsp black pepper
Sauce:
•2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
Garnish:
•Chopped fresh parsley or basil
Instructions
1.Cook the pasta
Boil shells in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside to cool.
2.Cook the beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef with garlic until browned.
Drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
3.Make the filling
In a bowl, mix:
oCooked beef
oRicotta
oMozzarella
oParmesan
oEgg
oSalt & pepper
4.Assemble
oSpread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish
oStuff each shell with the filling and place in the dish
5.Top
Spoon more marinara over shells and sprinkle with extra mozzarella.
6.Bake
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.
7.Finish
Garnish with parsley or basil and serve hot.
