In the 2026 WBC, extra innings (starting 10th) use the ghost runner rule, just like MLB: each half-inning begins with a runner on 2nd—the player in the batting order right before the leadoff hitter (or their sub). Same rule applies in the 13th or any later inning. No special "tiebreaker" on the field; they play till there's a winner to protect arms in the short tourney. (If it's about pool standings tiebreakers, that's separate: head-to-head, run/earned run quotients per out, etc.)
