In 1991, Nirvana played in Dallas, in the US state of Texas, a concert that ended up going down in history for the worst reasons. In 2020, the documentary "Everything Is A-OK" brought together the promoter of that concert, who said that it all started when, after being told that a protective barrier was needed between the stage and the audience, he was forced to place a group security guard in front of the band. At one point, Cobain jumped into the crowd with his guitar, irritating security - which led one of them to push the musician back onto the stage. Cobain ended up hitting him with his guitar, immediately receiving a punch from the same security guard and forcing Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic to separate them.
