We had a fantastic time at the Nursing Times Awards last night! Congratulations to all our winners. It was an evening filled with special moments and inspiring stories - wonderful to see over 1,100 people gathered to celebrate.

Why does the SM platform always have to bash each other’s NHS profession. It’s been v dismal reading this past 48hrs hearing nursing get such a bashing, we are all here for the same reason can’t we just have some goddam respect for each other !!

Spending has to be in the right places. Listening to NDNN @NPAGUK today, layering new services onto existing community nursing services can be wasteful. Investing in core, highly skilled #DistrictNursing services will help the whole system. @alisonleary1 @johnunsworth10 @TheQNI
