Really positive news after today’s incident at Widnes parkrun ❤️ The runner who took ill is doing well in hospital. His family have asked us to share this message: ➡️ “The co-ordinated efforts of everyone have ultimately saved my dad’s life.” ⬅️

RD Carl is super happy because the orange bollards have been removed, which means one thing…. park wars, the return of the three lapper This Saturday we will be returning to our three lap A course which takes in the wonderful lake.

Well it wasn’t the last parkrun we had planned for Tom, but that marks the end of his stint as RD and ED at Widnes parkrun. I want to take this opportunity to thank Tom for all his hard work and dedication to both roles over the last 5 years.
