Widowed parents often feel like we have to compensate for our kids only having 1 parent, that we have to be as good as 2, all the time. This week I was reminded that good enough is good enough. We can't always reach the heights we'd like, but doing our best is enough #bereavement

@mattlogelin’s book came out when we were launching our group for widowed Dads. It’s raw, unvarnished account of life as a sole Dad inspired and informed our work (later, we were psyched he blurbed our own book). Just a helluva guy. Can’t wait to watch #Fatherhood this weekend!
