@landatthebottom so have first bus, though it did have a lot of phantom buses on it, i.e there is a bus on the tracker coming towards you at the bus stop, but no bus in sight on the road.

@landatthebottom @Schmiffy12 my biggest annoyance with all these bollards is how much they narrow the pavement, around Queen Sq I end up walking in the road because there isn't enough room to walk to the pavement anymore. It looks like it will be same down here too.

I wonder if @Schmiffy12 will put his license on the line. The bollards are beautifully equidistant. Due to stroboscopic motion if you drive down Charlotte St at the right speed, the bollards may stand still. Like when a wagon-wheel starts to look like it is going backwards.

So @Argos_Online @ArgosHelpers must have the most unhelpful customer service, a useless virtual assistant which just asks you laods of quesitons and then goes sorry I can't help, and call centre who can't asnwer basic questions about your order and send you to a store for help.

It’s been on my bucket list to go to the arcades on Weymouth Beach (dream big, kids) and have fish & chips by the sea and I finally got to do it - and he won me a toy 🥹😍

@henrymoeranBBC SureLy the opposition should just send two players to stand on centre spot before Chelsea get there and see what they do then.

@landatthebottom There is one around the corner just as short, well a 2m long shared path to get around the pedestrian crossing outside St Martins primary. Basically people stand on pavement lights to red cyclist onto pavement into pedestrians.

Our Bathnes is introducing what I think will be our shortest cycle path. It will be as 4.5m long "shared pavement" between between No 87 and 89 Midford Road in Odd Down. No shared path immediately to the left of it, and nothing to the right and nothing directly opposite.

@BBCNews so are the petrol stations going to drop the price of petrol immediately now there is a drop in oil prices like they hiked them up or use their excuse for profiteering of buying in advance? @WhichUK @TheAA_UK

@JPearce_JP @Ben_Wisden I always think the same with these stats on private vs state, they only include the final stage of education. Similar in Hockey, also dominated by private school, but also seen first hand the number of talented players given fully funded scholarships to play for private school.

@Ben_Wisden Would it not be a better measure to look at how many started in state school + local cricket club, but then got a cricket based scholarship to attend private school between the ages of 12 - 16, vs those who were privately educated from 6-11 and then again 11-16/18, + local club?

According to this report, men's professional cricket in the UK has a higher rate of private education than the House of Lords and the Conservative shadow cabinet. In 2014, the rate was 33 percent. Now it's 59 percent.

Which professions are dominated by the privately educated? We've repeatedly highlighted the problems with elitism in sectors like the media, politics, and sport. Here are the most & least representative professions (in terms of education backgrounds) ⬇️ elitistbritain.suttontrust.com

@HACKETTREF Why not just use cards, if you push, hold or physically force to move an opposing player before the ball is in play then its a yellow card, repeat the offence a second yellow and a red. Once ball is in play whoever does it first penalised with penalty or freekick.

@BBCNews But they were only working 32 hours a week anyway so the shift to a 4 day week was easier. More hours than that and you either have very long days or reduce the hours and then the employers take a hit in paying more per hour, or employees take home less money.

@landatthebottom they could probably do with spending it on the Guildhall itself, was in there the other weekend and the plasterwork is damaged in the Banqueting room and on the north wing main staircase from water ingress.

And by the way, if you want to make the Guildhall more carbon neutral, you could start by shutting the windows. Cllr Romero keeps the windows open even in winter due to some kind of anti-Covid / pro-ventilation obsession. This is despite me spending £2,500 on air purifiers.

A fine example of OPM (Other People's Money) impacting decisions. An XR councillor thinks, “Hey, we could put a turbine on that river and it would power the lights in the Guildhall FOR FREE". Then somehow they get approval to spend £1.85 million of my cash on consultants.

@watershipcujo @BathEcho the cynic in me thinks that they had no intention of doing these things, but just chose some things that people would object to so they can then claim to be listening.

@BathEcho What about all our feedback that it shouldn't be put at Locksbrook Road which is probably more important. While I'm at it, what about all our feedback about LTNs & RPZs?
