@wombofthevoid Psychology because people are the only thing you could learn everything about and still know nothing. So if one has a desire for competency then a pursuit of endless learning is an opportunity to consistently grow and empower

last 2 boyfriends are highly competent people who desperately want to be seen and valued for their personal swag/who they are (like a girl) and i’m a girl who made it trough life almost solely because of who i am but who desperately wants to be valued for competence (like a boy)

but it’s also like the only thing that matters is tech at this point so you have to try or basically die symbolically

i feel like becoming competent in tech is useless because some 15 year old autist with an ipad is gonna show up in 10 years and just whip everything i’ve ever worked torwards and then it’s gonna happen every few weeks.

i’m so shaky recently with everything i do. it’s like getting close with radioactivity and getting CLEARED. i’m petting my cat self consciously right now, wondering if i’m taking energy from him or giving him anything. i think he’s just allowing me out of habit and i feel bad.
