Classic: 7th grade tried to explain to a teacher with 'A Bachelors in English Literature from the University of Alabama' that 'cataract' has more than one meaning. Me: 'It can also mean a type of white water.' Teacher pulls out Merriam-Webster's Terminally Abridged for the Terminally Ignorant. Teacher: 'Cataract. A disease of the eye.' Me; 'Maybe you should get a real dictionary?' And there I was in the principal's office. Again. How bout you?
