@johnlk_80 @nathanwatkins @Kit_Donnelly @towhey The gestalt has gone from "check wikipedia" to "dont use it" to "use if it has sources" but ol' Wiki P is littered with bad sources that look legit on a surface level, and of partial exerpts from sources that are misleading without context. If you care, check the sources proper

@nathanwatkins @Kit_Donnelly @towhey Lots of articles that are *very bad* and incomplete, for sure. But usually if a Wikipedia article goes in depth on something it'll at least be based on a real source.
