Try not to get 💨BLOWN AWAY💨 by our first full-scale launch results! Our team launched our competition rocket for the first time and there was absolutely no damage to our vehicle. We also hit within 6 feet of our expected apogee. Not bad for our first try!

@AstroStaab Good questions, Michael! The rocket's apogee is required to be between 3,500 and 5,500 feet, and we are aiming for a target apogee of 4,200 feet. Motors must be purchased commercially. More information on the competition requirements can be found at nasa.gov/stem/studentla…

@wsulaunch What’s are altitude and payload mass requirements? Any restrictions on custom propulsion systems, or required to use off the shelf?
