@guardianromitri that would be the only way they could redeem the show, BUT it wont make sense because the new tension wont be there between them and theres all this history. honestly i hope the show gets cancelled and they make the real story - ofc they can flesh out sonya etc more as well

i have a prediction - season 1 ends with Rose and Lissa running away and season 2 starts with Dimitri finding and bringing them back but he is also even more respected guardian now.

@VAWriters a higher chance of being renewed if you idk, stuck to the source material? not only is it a COMPLETELY different story with elements (😜) of VA/any other vampire story, i find it's too fast paced and even tho its nothing like the book i think some non book fans might be confused

@FutureSC_lyss @julieplec @peacock monsters, so that Buffy and I’m VA’s case, Rose doesn’t appear to just be murdering innocent people. It shows the threat that exists from Strigoi as compared to Moroi. If Dimitri becomes Strigoi, I think he’d resemble an Angel/Spike like vampire.

@rxsehathomir if its this off course this early, i've a feeling the rest of the books story lines are mostly gna be abandoned. i wish we got VA for what it was & they made this their own show & called it something else. i get the world building but they could've done that & stuck to the story

even with storylines moved around and moved up and switched around etc, it was amazing. like it all worked and i didnt actually hate any of the changes. like it works. and im here for it. god, i cant wait to see the rest. #VampireAcademy

@ToadieLittle No, but the books weren't either. There was only one part that was in Spokane. The rest was in Montana. Show doesn't really go into the exact location yet.

I've just finished the first 4 episodes of #VampireAcademy and as a die hard superfan of the books I thought I would hate it, but I fucking love it.

@julieplec i find it ironic that you panned the movie for being "mean girls" and yet Rose had the personality down exactly as it was in the book and the tone was closer than the TV show and didnt have 1000 changes to the plot, characters etc. @VAWriters
