CalTech isn’t like the Ivy League. There are plenty of kids who get into Brown or Yale through grinding + credentials their parents buy for them in high school. CalTech doesn’t work like that. You don’t get in—let alone survive four years there—unless you’re exceptionally smart.

While these features may well be beneficial, Defendants have not provided any national security justification for why these features must be installed immediately such that they should be excluded from the scope of the injunction.”

Do I think the US should militarily back an Argentinian takeover over the Falklands. Of course not. But I do find hilarious the sudden surge of faux British patriotism when half of England melts down every time they see the St. George flag. If I were British I’d spend more time trying to save my own nation from the third world takeover they’ve invited upon themselves and less time rage tweeting at Americans.
