Next up, diamond cutters and Mimic. Mexico for Tangle, Portugal for Whisper, Mimic for Argentina and Lanolin for Uruguay. Again, will include explanations separately in the next post. I really like these ones.👍

Lastly for this set is Infinite, he creates many illusions and dazzle’s opponents, similar to Morocco who have many hypnotic like passing structures and illusions almost. Jackals also appear in Morocco and in other northern African countries, natural habitat for them.

Next is Omega for Tunisia, Omega is obsessed with annihilation of Eggman, very aggressive similar to Tunisia who are aggressive hard hitting underdogs in Africa, there is obviously no real wild life connection but he would probably work well in a desert.

For Shadow, he is the ultimate Lifeform, very cold, calculating and strong. Very efficient and similar to Germany with its strict set ups. The colour scheme matches well too. His black fur and brooding nature blend with the black forest in Germany, with the mystery.

Here is the next 4 characters, team dark +infinite, I had to pick a fourth character so I just picked infinite for this. Shadow’s arms are a bit off and Omega is a bit big but oh well😂

Here is an interesting one I didn’t see coming, Lanolin as Uruguay. She is hard working and strict, disciplined as well, similar to Uruguay and fighting with high intensity. Uruguay also has a lot of agriculture and farms, it has many sheep in it as a result, that helps the case!

For Mimic and Argentina, I did sort of want to ‘mimic’ the Messi and Ronaldo rivalry with Whisper vs Mimic, he is calculating, a cheat, a traitor, we know Argentina’s history- hand of God, world cup 22 pens, etc. Deceptive, mind games, trickery, Octopus do live in Argentina too.

For Tangle, obviously I can’t give her Madagascar would have been good though, however her extremely extroverted personality works well with Mexico’s loud atmosphere and passionate fans. Lemurs aren’t native but there are tropical rainforests to almost give similarity.

For team sonic, lastly is Amy, who is very loving and passionate, mostly to sonic, but also has good determination and likes fashion. Hedgehogs do exist there as-well so no problem with that at all. Again, makes decent sense!

Australia for Knuckles, I mean echidnas are native to Australia they are very famous there, Knuckles is thought to be a Power type character and a very strong defender of the Master emerald, he even lives on an island. Works well with Australia physicality.

Maybe biased but for Sonic, a hedgehog is an animal you do see in England a lot, it is often considered to be the birthplace of football as-well(hence the “its coming home” phrase) the premier league is often considered fast paced as well, overall makes sense!

Here is Team Sonic! I will include reasons separately. The reasons are all a mix of the character’s animals being native or their character or ethnicity has a good fit. Or maybe beliefs and personality are the reason. Either way, the characters fit quite nicely I think!

This took ages, I have just finished assigning world cup countries to many sonic characters. I have taken inspiration from E123litomega123 and Weegiman who I have also seen do this. I will be generating images of the characters. However tomorrow is the last A-level, gotta lock in

Here is part 1, this took a lot of discussion with AI, I wanted it to be correct and make sense and be within character for a certain character to be a certain country at the world cup. When I do them in kits, I will be giving an explanation as to why they are that country.
