@CynthiaMLummis Abolish income tax and capital gain tax (especially since most gains really because of inflation). If income tax has to be retained, make it a flat income tax over a certain income threshold (2x poverty line) and something like 15% or less. Bitcoin strategic reserve!!!!

The decision comes down to BTC Yield. Buy $183k of MSTR today and receive an equivalent of 1 Bitcoin or spend the $183k on Bitcoin and receive 1.93 Bitcoin. But in 4Q24 MSTR generated a 47.8% BTC Yield. If MSTR generates a 40% BTC Yield for the next 4 Qs, then a $183k purchase of MSTR today generates an equivalent of 3.8 Bitcoin in one year. An 18% BTC Yield over the next 4 Qs is about breakeven--either investment generates 1.93 BTC. So, if you think MSTR can generate a robust BTC Yield, then it's worth an allocation.

$MSTR holds 446,400 BTC. They have 281.4M shares outstanding on a fully diluted basis as of today. That means each share represents ₿0.00158625 or 158,625 sats. To get to 1 BTC via $MSTR, you need 631 shares today. At $290/share, that would cost $183k. Compared to BTC today at $95k. Worth it? Like, if yes. Comment, if no. What would it have to be priced at to make it interesting? 🤔
