I strongly condemn the killings in Jos and I commiserate with families affected. RIP to the victims too. Our government must rise up to the occasion and stop its occurrence without delay! On the other hand, I am so ashamed and so dejected that a foreigner US citizen Alex Barbir ( believed to be a Missionary )has to be calling out the country's President over the incident. Of course this cannot happen in America.The foreigner would have been summarily arrested and promptly deported if not charged to court . But what if his voice is the needed one after several and repeated failures by our gov and her security operatives and apparatus to nip the ugly situations in the bud in the area? Whom do the tired, oppressed, terrorized and beleaguered Plateau state people call unto? They have prayed and are tired of praying . I think your governor has a query to answer on this?

We don’t even want any US or Trump involvement. Remove any form of military or security from the state and give our men just 3 days. If they aren’t cowards, why do they attack only at night and run into hiding?

Her mind indeed ? Someone rushing to buy things in a market far beyond her abode? She lost all her money, she didn't see anything concerning the market she was going to and the goods she was going to purchase in haste. She asked her customer to wait for her while she planned to 'rush ' down the town centre to get them. I wonder why her spirit didn't go to that market and quickly deliver the goods to her customer first before waking up at the emergency ward of UCH in Ibadan all covered in blood with several stitches to her nose, chin, leg and foot. In that encounter, she narrated that she had wanted to stay behind when shown all around the 'beautiful' place after trying to pluck and eat a fruit that resembled an apple but was told not to because her time wasn't now. She was shown by tall, neatly dressed personalities who seemed to know the answers to all questions several rooms with people seated in rows, well dressed, in peace and tranquility all happy. While struggling to book a seat and remain there, she was asked to look back to catch a glimpse of a very wide expanse having no beginning or end. She looked back and woke up smiling while hearing faint shouts of family members calling on Doctors and Nurses around signalling attention to her 'waking up' from the dead. Thereafter her nerve ending began the signal as she started feeling pains in all over her body as a result of injuries sustained in the accident. My question to you is why was her reality( rushing to buy goods for her waiting customers which filled her mind) was quite different from what she saw after she passed out as a result of the accident if her mind actually created those things?

Jos people, Plateau people, let’s be honest with ourselves can we? 1. We saw the signs but ignored them. Instead of taking a picture of their plate numbers and creating awareness, we decided to describe the road from British to Angwa for them as if we are Google Maps. 2. Instead of buying from our fellow christians, we patronized them because “They were cheaper”. 3. We saw too many strange people we’ve never seen before, yet we decided to “mind our business”. 4. We knew the incompetence of our security agents, yet we still trusted them to protect us. 5. We received threats from them during Ramadan period, avoided terminus for 2 days and totally forgot ourselves. 6. We knew that the attacks weren’t just going to end at our villages, yet we didn’t even prepare for any surprises. 7. Instead of getting arms to protect ourselves, we will still go to church on Sunday and spend 3hours “praying for the peace on the Plateau”. 8. When this is all over, we will struggle to get back on our feet but we will not really care much because we know it will happen again!
