Year 2 last day of school , water fun day

Donations for St Vincent de Paul Christmas appeal will be collected on Monday. Please send all non perishable items to school on Monday. Thank you to all who have donated.

Day 3 of our swim school program! Big smiles all around from Year 2.

Students are encouraged to bring donations of non-perishable foods and presents for the St.Vincent De Paul Appeal. These donations will be collected by Monday 9th December.

Year 2 students will be wearing green and red shirts with denim or black bottoms for the Christmas Concert. The Christmas concert is on Wednesday 11th December.

Year 2 used their persuasive language techniques to convince us whether education was better in the past or in the present.

Today Year 2 are learning about friction forces and how different surfaces (felt, bubble wrap, cellophane, sponge) react against a hockey puck (bottle cap). How will it affect how fast the puck goes.

Year 2 are writing letters to support the farmers during this difficult time.

Year 2 are practicing their throwing and catching skills this week!

Today we had to investigate the area of these mysterious shapes on our classroom floor.

Year 2 are planning their arguments to defend either the Big Bad Wolf or the Three Little Pigs!

Year 2 are brainstorming reasons for their persuasive writing! Topics: Healthy food choices are important for your body. Everyone should join a sport or in fitness. Lunchboxes should not have food wrapped in plastic.
