@iiTzMagicc i played the original few nexto bots in a local match, it was really fun to figure out what works and what doesn’t. the bots now are way, way too optimal to be fun. imagine ranked 1s but your opponent only air dribble bumps, and if you save it, they take ball back for another

Played some ranked rocket league with my buddy and experienced playing against the good bots for the first time... I now know why I both stopped playing this game and also why everyone on twitter is non stop bitching about them. I knew that they were good/a problem but never actually experienced it till now RL is dead

@ItsSlumpii I pray they'll sell because they've pushed RL to the end of its life. Can't be a money printer for much longer when even players and creators on their payroll are complaining

After the recent layoffs, I firmly believe that Rocket League won't be fixed nor adapted to change with the times, let alone be ran properly, until Epic Games sells it to someone who can both run it effectively and actually cares for the IP. The # that everyone is using is great, but RL doesn't just need change atp. Either Epic Games' leadership needs drastic change, or the game needs to return to its roots with Psyonix, or perhaps a different developer entirely imo. (I sadly doubt any of this will happen though)

@LeShoeGG I think people just didn't expect to have to live with it for so long. I know some don't feel like networking to play a game. Silly, because at the level you're talking about, you already know most of your opponents. And are willing to put in the extra time. But still valid imo

I'm curious, since RLCS players obviously don't want to compete against the bots in ranked right now, why are they not filling that time with private lobbies? I'm sure it would be very easy to get a group of guys to 2v2 or 3v3 for an hour, or get some private 6mans server
