Sometimes Feral Biting

141 doing weird/exciting things is interesting to write - but I genuinely like when they just.. get to be regular, tired people. Like fuck no, Soap's knee hurts like a motherfucker after a stint away, and he's about to spend a week with it propped up in front of the telly.

(The OMtech I think is just having issues because the bed size is tiny and keeping things flat and secure has been an issue, it’s having issues focusing on the floofy texture for consistency, once I work it out it should be cool to have them both working!)

And it does a better job because usually a few hours in I’m tired and grumpy and misfits happen. Plus it saves material because it can group things better… The Omtech isn’t quite getting it but the hand holding the glowforge does made it super easy to get it working

I can not explain the sheer joy of being able to sew and paint while the glowforge handles all of my cutting…. Fur cutting really screws up my workflow, hurts my hands, and generally slows me down so much and now I can work while it cuts in a fraction of the time

I managed to sculpt, paint, and seal 10 art dolls today and also a pair of teeny spotted hyena earrings!

...and also on the way inside, I THOUGHT WE WERE PAST THE AGE OF SMUGGLING TREES INTO THE HOUSE BOOM

My garage door broke in the storm so I cleared out my breezeway for an accessible petsitter door and on one side I have a clean breezeway, on the other side the Crime Noodle and her son now have SO MUCH MORE ROOM IN THERE FOR CRIMES on the way outside...

@batscoffeeco A week later and Soap is like “okay okay my headwound is closed and look I have a heartbeat now! I think she figured it out!” Simon still isn’t even sure how to address his feelings about all of this with his therapist, she’s absolutely going to think he’s delusional

@batscoffeeco His mum is working on a cleaner resurrection but initially she just throws him back in his still dead body initially so poor Soap is just haunting his own corpse a few days Simon just “the therapy WAS working but now seeing your literal corpse I’m not so sure”

I need Ghost's mother to physically scruff Soap and drop kick him out of the afterlife because "ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOT" Like it gets to the point where Soap is three different flavors of undead because he is being bullied by Simon's mother who's not going to let him stay dead

I’m pretty happy with these casts now they’re more cleaned up (not paint prepped though) I think they’ll be fun to paint!

Before and after 5 hours of sanding and dremeling….gonna…vacuum off then shower for an hour….

Soap is NOT fucking leaving her son via death, she loves to see him happy. They're allowed to break up but NO DEATH (they're also not allowed to break up, if her son fucks this up he will never sleep again, she's going to haunt his mask so it plays bagpipes

Cast these guys between the owls :) Hoping after this sleep to do new figure casts then dremel hell I wasn’t able to do with weather shit to go into weekend all painting, and art doll sculpting! Then hoping to be printing and cutting and sealing things by Sunday!

Three raw casts….annoyed I couldn’t finish the dragon base but am pleased with how well this guy is casting…he slushes really evenly despite the deep points and the mold is a bit of a chunk but it demolds really clean Hoping clean up to get them paint ready will be quick!

Lost way to many hours to stupid tornado warnings (maybe tornados? Everyone is arguing on the neighbor groups if they actually touched down or not) But got the resin coat on the owl at least

Ghost with permanent damage to his body after Roba. Internal scarring. Intestines fucked up. Skin scarred and patched and tight. Back barely keeping it together. Should probably be on some meds for his mental health. And yet Soap is the one tracking his own body's every issue.
