It has never occurred to me to let kudos dictate whether I'll read a fic or not. I don't think I've ever looked at the amount of kudos on any fic I've read either? Is this a common thing?

I think this applies to โunpopularโ authors no matter what fandom youโre in, too. There are incredible, gifted authors out there that never get their due because people pay too much attention to the kudos and hits instead of the writing style and story idea.
