@WUTangKids Well, to be fair Starbucks had contracts wirh the military up until around 2003-2004 and military bases had Starbucks shops. Those contracts were ended when the troops that deployed to Iraq wrote to Starbucks and asked for coffee. Starbucks denied the request.

@WUTangKids The military removed all Starbucks from bases shortly after that happened. That is likely where the emoloyees are contracted by the military came from.

@vicam33 @WUTangKids That’s not entirely correct, there are Starbucks in military bases still, they are just not owned and operated by Starbucks corporate. They are licensed locations

@vicam33 @WUTangKids The coffee served in all of the VA canteens is Starbucks coffee it’s just not served in Starbucks cups & the workers are Canteen staff.
