"South Asia and Oceania will also have independent regional competitions leading to LCQ," Head of VALORANT Esports APAC & VCT Pacific Jake Sin added. VCT Pacific will include a Last Chance Qualifier, where teams from SA and OCE can fight for qualification into Kickoff and Cups.

VCT Pacific 2027 will feature 6 Regional Competitions: - 🇰🇷 South Korea - 🇯🇵 Japan - 🇹🇭 Thailand - 🇮🇩 Indonesia - 🇻🇳 Vietnam - 🌏 Wild Card (PH, MY, SG, Rest of SEA) South Asia and Oceania will also qualify through Wild Card. Teams will advance from Regional Competitions into Cups, then onward to Masters and Champions. More details on slot allocation, regional qualification formats, and partner team selection will be shared ahead of Champions Shanghai.

@VALO2ASIA Why is SA PH OCE have to go thorugh LCQ but others get a slot dispite ph sa and oce being such huge markets and with a high player base ig they just dont want any teams from that region to compete so just sideline them

@VALO2ASIA Can you clarify if the LCQ qualifies into the wildcard tournament which then qualifies to cups? Or does the LCQ directly qualify into the cups? Cuz the previous post says SA and OCE will be in wildcard, but this post makes it look like a direct qualification into kickoff/cups
