I am not disgusted by the criminally stupid war Hezbollah started I am not disgusted by the ruthless Israeli response on Lebanon Those were completely expected What really disgusts me is the complete paralysis and lack of relevance of the Lebanese State, Presidency and Army. We had some hope when Joseph Aoun was elected. Today nobody has any illusions anymore: the Lebanese state is as implicated in the demise of Lebanon as Hezbollah and Israel. By its refusal to take a stance, by its total obstination to being a worthless observer inside its own borders, the Lebanese state has proven it does not deserve to be part of History.

Why did the Lebanese state order the Lebanese army to leave Christian villages in south Lebanon Why does this army even exist if they are unwilling to maintain basic security inside peaceful towns who did no wrong to anybody whatsoever
