Dear @thenff , there is absolutely nothing good about this evening. You have once again failed millions of football lovers in Nigeria. How hard is it to select players who are hungry, committed, and willing to bleed for the nation instead of these so-called European stars who have zero understanding of pride, passion, or patriotism?
Why are you obsessed with hiring coaches who are completely clueless about tactics? Coaches who cannot dictate play, read a match, or even place players in their natural positions? Is this truly the best you can find in a country of over 200 million people and 36 states? Or is politics now more important than performance?
You call Nigeria the Giant of Africa, yet we can’t qualify for the FIFA World Cup twice in a row. What a disgrace. If the people in charge have no idea what they’re doing, they should step aside and let competent hands rebuild what you’ve destroyed.
These players tonight were the most miserable, confused, and directionless individuals to ever wear the Super Eagles jersey. The lack of fight, the lack of identity, the lack of structure…it is embarrassing on every level.
This is a BIG SHAME.
Every one of you should bow your heads in shame for dragging this country’s football reputation into the mud.
Do better !!!😡😡😡

The truth is, if Lionel Messi were from any European country, the numbers we argue about today wouldn’t even be a debate. He would be leading the charts by an embarrassing margin.
The level of defenders he faced in South America, the intensity of travel, the physicality, the brutality of Copa Libertadores-style football and all of it makes his achievements even more extraordinary.
Messi didn’t just beat records; he beat circumstances.

You’ve been through so much this year, more than most people even know. You’ve kept going through losses, disappointments, fake smiles, and sleepless nights. Yet here you are still standing. That’s strength, even if it doesn’t feel like it. You don’t have to have it all figured out right now. You don’t have to pretend you’re okay every day. Healing takes time, and progress isn’t always loud. Just keep waking up, keep trying, keep believing that better days are still ahead. You deserve peace after the pain, clarity after the confusion, and joy after the chaos. Your story isn’t over yet it’s just going through a rough chapter. @oku_yungx please chief, retweet or quote will make me feel 😌

LETTER TO THE MEN 🙏🏾
I fully understand the need to hustle and work hard to provide for our families. It’s part of being a responsible man. But let’s not forget that while we strive to secure the future, the present…the moments with our loved ones is just as important.
Your home must remain a top priority, even amidst your professional commitments.
When you are physically present, be present. Spend meaningful, quality time with your children. They don’t just need you to be there. They need your engagement, your attention, your emotional presence. It’s those moments that shape them, that build your bond.
Remember, your time off isn’t solely for chilling with friends over drinks or indulging in good food. It’s also an opportunity to reconnect with your family, to be actively involved in your kids' lives. Your influence as a father goes beyond providing material needs; it lies in the lessons you impart, the support you give and the love you show.
So, take the time to ask about their day, share in their interests or simply listen to what’s on their minds. These are the moments they will remember and the ones that will shape their sense of security, self-worth and emotional health.
And yes, I understand life can get overwhelming, but balance is key. Work hard, but also work smart. Give yourself permission to step back when you need to. Prioritize what truly matters: the relationships that will last long after your career achievements fade into the background.
Be intentional. Be involved. And, above all, be there because your kids won’t be kids forever and neither will you.
Be guided accordingly.
