i just really like the dynamic of tenna making battat feel bad because he's desperate for mike to not leave again and battat making tenna feel bad because he's a weirdo and messy

he justifies it to himself because he's in a constant moral dilemma with himself. And he feels like he doesn't deserve anything thats why he's so aggressive w jon and pluey he thinks he doesn't deserve their niceness. he's like stop that you idiots don't know how EVIL i am

i like to think battat justifies this behavior by arguing that tenna does the same when he makes battat feel guilty and responsible for his sadness so its not wrong for him to do something similar. But that doesn't cut out so he starts thinking he's the evilest person alive

considering something he'll feel bad about and regret doing later
