Last week was Michigan #senioractionweek and many legislators in our service area showed support. Thank you to @SenPolehanki & @StateRepSteph for sponsoring our Older Michiganians Day resolution. Thank you to those that hung signs @JasonMorganMI, @StateRepSteph, & Rep. Byrnes.

3) Another $1 million to end the statewide waitlist for #mealsonwheels and $7 million to address the in-home care waitlist. 4) More support for the MI Choice Waiver program, including a rate increase for Waiver agents and the rebalancing of HCBS and institutional care.

1) The addition of 33 new employees in the MI Long Term Care Ombudsman (LTCO) program at a cost of $3 million. 2) An expansion of supports for family caregivers, including the Caring for my Family tax credit proposed by @GovWhitmer.
