She was reported missing on April 28, 2026. Ten days later, on May 8, her body was discovered hanging from a tree on the grounds of the United House of Prayer for All People church. While the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has ruled her death a suicide, her family and many in the community are voicing deep concerns and pushing for a more thorough investigation into the circumstances. This is devastating. No child should ever have to be mourned this way. May her memory be a blessing and may she rest in eternal peace. 🕊️
