Wanted to highlight the one click/auto-approve feature especially, which is very neat + I think a lot of devs might want something similar!
Kevin | Aftermath (🥚, 🥚)@KevinAftermath

Yesterday marked our largest update to AF perps since our initial launch; not only did we launch our 11th market, AF100USD, we increased leverage across 5 markets, rolled out One-Click Trading (1CT), enabled an improved version of Dynamic Gas for AF perps, added the Gas Pool and Agent Wallet tabs to our UI, improved the metrics available on your account page, and released v2.5.0 of our skills. Each of these will get its own dedicated post on @AftermathFi but prior to that I wanted to shed some light on how each feature works and how to best utilize them. AF100USD AF100 marks our 11th market since launch, 6th market powered by @PythNetwork Pro, 5th Equities market, and 4th market using our onchain, rolling-contract-based formula for deriving price feeds. One-Click Trading This has been a long requested feature and our biggest pain point since launch: clicking an approve button on all transactions is poor UX and, in some cases, a blocker for integration in the first place. Combining Sui's Sponsored Transactions with in-house developed infra, we were able to provide auto-accept functionality across all AF Perp transactions. Approve once at the start of your session and never deal with a wallet popup for the remainder of your session. When you first visit our /perpetuals page, you will be prompted to enable 1CT. To do so, you need to pre-reserve SUI to be used as gas for all auto-approved transactions. After depositing, we will create an agent wallet for your account and execute all transactions through this agent wallet using the gas you reserved. You will need to periodically top up the reserved gas; you can either manage this and the agent wallets explicitly on the Gas Pool and Agent Wallet pages or you will be prompted to top up automatically if your reserves start to get too low. Dynamic Gas We originally launched Dynamic Gas back in the end of 2023 to allow afSUI holders to pay gas using our LSD. We quickly expanded the scope of Dynamic Gas to include many assets, including @circle's USDC. For AF perps, we had to completely redevelop Dynamic Gas from the ground up-to not increase the average cost of any AF perp transaction-and closely coupled it with our 1CT implementation. When enabling 1CT, you have the option to select any asset as the gas token or mix and match between many tokens. The next unlock for AF perps is finally here: quick, frictionless transactions payed for in any asset you desire. Gas Pool Want to view how much gas you have left reserved for 1CT? Visit our new Gas Pool page to deposit into and withdraw from your reserves and manage the accounts that have access to these reserves. af.lol/gas-pool Agent Wallet Want to grant new or revoke and view pre-existing agent wallets tied to your account? Visit our new Agent Wallets tab to handle all of these interactions. You'll see all of the active agent wallets you've explicitly enabled as well as the agent wallets addresses tied to your address underpinning 1CT. af.lol/agent-wallets Account Page We've added account-individualized metrics, across Maker / Taker volume and fees, to give you more insight into your historical performance and help you correlate between your epoch activity and epoch-end rewards. These same metrics are also visible on all Vault pages for both depositors and Vault curators. Skills v2.5.0 added support for all of the above as well as a few new endpoints and minor improvements to previous endpoints. View and download the latest skills at skills.aftermath.finance All of these features are here to kick off the start of our epoch 4! Use these new features to your advantage and participate to be eligible for 50k of SUI rewards at the end of epoch 4 (April 12th) split across AFLP and AF perp traders.

Most perps DEXs settle each cancel and each order as a separate transaction. On @AftermathFi, you can cancel every stale order and place an entire new grid in a single atomic transaction AKA PTB. Here's the architecture and why it matters for execution quality: @SuiNetwork's transaction model lets you compose multiple operations/events into one atomic tx. Why this matters mechanically: on other chains, refreshing 10 cancel txs + 10 place txs. Each pays gas independently. Worse, there's a window between your cancels landing and your new orders landing where you have zero orders on the book. So you're unquoted during the most critical part of a refresh. With atomic execution, old orders and new orders swap in the same "block". There is no intermediate state. If any operation in the batch fails, the entire transaction reverts, so you're always in a known state. No partial fills on stale prices before all your new quotes hit the book. Here's what's even better... It gets cheaper the more you do this. Sui's storage model charges a deposit when on-chain objects are created and refunds ~99% when they're deleted. Every order you cancel or that gets filled deletes an object and returns its storage deposit. So since you're constantly recycling orders, cancelling stale quotes and placing fresh ones, the rebates from your cancels directly offset the storage cost of your new orders within the same transaction: net_gas = computation_fee + new_storage - rebates_from_deletions. Same economics apply to takers. When an incoming order fills against your resting orders, those matched orders are deleted, generating rebates that reduce the taker's gas cost. More liquidity recycled on the book = cheaper transactions for everyone touching it. Now the part most people miss: composability across markets. Every transaction builder endpoint accepts a txKind field. Pass the output of one call as input to the next and each call adds operations to the same transaction. Instead of doing all the hard part yourself our API exposes this directly: cancel-and-place-orders batches N cancels and M new orders into a single transaction. POST /api/perpetuals/account/transactions/cancel-and-place-orders3/ One signature, one gas fee, one on-chain settlement.

.@AftermathFi is 1 month old today. Time for some insights and a look at what's ahead. In 30 days: — $40M+ in total volume — ~$200K avg daily OI that’s all real, all verifiable onchain — 10 live markets, including US500 AF is the cheapest CLOB perp exchange trading today. Period. I have years of catching up to do, and I'm still bounded by Mysten's infra updates, so there's still some overhead when shipping new features. But we're moving. Next release is: 1CT with Dynamic Gas, meaning you can use USDC end to end without ever holding $SUI for gas. TWAP orders, pair trading, more markets, and most importantly, a completely new UI are all in the pipeline. afLP has been performing extremely well, printing ~20% APY with constant improvements to the underlying strategy. On incentives, AF has zero market maker side deals. Zero side deals of any kind. All SUI rewards and AF points go directly to users: makers, takers, and afLP depositors alike. That said, these rewards aren't handouts, they're tools to push specific behaviors that make the exchange healthier. Better liquidity, tighter spreads, more robust books. Everyone benefits. I'll keep open-sourcing bots I see on the timeline, and I'd encourage anyone interested to build and integrate. The flywheel here is real: more integrations → more volume → better liquidity → your users make money too. This isn't a zero-sum game, building on AF is building for yourself. And if you're building with AI agents or LLMs, AF is ready for that too. We're probably the most LLM-friendly perp exchange live today: — MCP server: mcp.aftermath.finance/mcp — Skills: skill.aftermath.finance — CCXT integration: docs.ccxt.com/#/exchanges/af… — Full API endpoints: aftermath.finance/docs/ — SDK: docs.aftermath.finance/for-developers… Point your fav LLM at us and start trading. Point your agent at us and start market making. The infra is there. I've been working toward this since 2022. A fully onchain perpetuals exchange. No black boxes. No trust assumptions. No backroom deals. An equal playing field with full verifiability. Aftermath is that place. And it's now the leading driver of onchain txs on Sui thickest event payloads per transaction, burning $SUI, generating genuine network activity. Month 1 done. We're just getting started.
