But this is a Bobby Soxer style popular in the 1940s-1950s: polo shirt or knitted sweater, pleated or poodle skirt paired with Bobby socks and saddle shoes/ loafers
Bowling bag purses had their reign in the 1920s-1950s.
It was meant to invoke a mid 20th century preppy look and feel.
