In short, you cannot teach children heteronormativity—the belief that only heterosexuality matters—with public money. The only thing about sexuality that children should be taught is that there are straight people who love the opposite sex, gay people who love the same sex, and bi people who love both sexes. No more and no less, equally for all three. I do not support beliefs that undermine heterosexuality either. But treating it with the same decency and neutral attitude as other sexualities is not undermining it.
