@JFletcherSaxon @JoyceIHuiChen1 Maybe lack of resources/time to follow through an action research project instead of literature based studies which are completed as a one-off study? Mine took almost three years to cover two cohorts of HE students for a specific annual learning event.

There's been a drop in action research as meth approach since 2002 (RCBN) and increase in meta-studies & systematic reviews in edu research (State of the Discipline, BERA, 2023). I'm crafting a line in my thesis about this - asking what it may be telling me? What say you? #phd
