That’s a wrap on the spring planting season 2025 for @Ark_VT . Our last soybean flood tolerance trials were planted @StationPine ahead of this round of storms.

Corn plots have jumped over the last 3 weeks at NERREC.

Corn OVT at NERREC looking good. Early Planted beans are up and running, Just wrapped up planing the Full Season soybean test, weather permitting planting Pine Tree tomorrow.

Our water-logging / flood tolerance test aims to replicate a real world flood. There are significant differences in yield among Soybean Varieties under water-logging stress. This helps soybean producers to select varieties for their fields where water-logging may be an issue.

Significant leaf rust on susceptible varieties in the OVT at Rohwer today. Variety choice matters.
