The Thick of It (2005โ€“2012) is British political satire at its absolute sharpest, brutal and hilarious, with Peter Capaldiโ€™s Malcolm Tucker firing off insults like machine gun bursts and every scene feeling one step away from total collapse.

hot take but I fucking hate the word chubby just say fat! Its not a bad word I promise!!!! Your hesitancy to say the word fat implies that its an inherently negative thing to be or to say! Fat is a neutral term!!!!!

@Alatariel__ I mean... "Robot" is kind of a generic Doctor's-first-appearance type of story so that does track.

Nikki Hiltz, a transgender & non-binary Olympian, speaks out against the eventโ€™s new anti-trans policy: โ€œI don't know who needs to hear this but ZERO trans women competed in the Paris Olympics. Only ONE trans woman weightlifter competed in Tokyo 2021 and she did not win a medal. Can we please stop obsessing over trans people? And idk maybe focus our time, energy, and resources into real problems women's sports face?โ€

india just passed an anti trans bill, trans people were banned from the olympics, and a black trans woman was just murdered in the united states and people somehow care more about promoting their wizard show that is directly funding transphobes to kill us and take our rights away

This is for the numerous transphobes and TERFs who say we are "stealing appointment time from REAL women" or "why not see a urologist?" Here's what she gave me, 1. Neovaginal care is real medical care. Doctors monitor tissue health, healing, scarring, and issues like narrowing or irritation over time. 2. Infections Trans women can experience bacterial or yeast infections, along with general irritation or discharge that needs evaluation. 3. STI Screening HIV, HPV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc, are still risks for trans women just as they are for anyone else who is sexually active. 4. Cancer screening Although there is no cervix, the tissue used to create a neovagina can still develop abnormalities and, in rare cases, cancer. 5. Pelvic Floor Health Surgery changes anatomy, and that can affect muscles, urinary function, and comfort during sex. 6. Sexual Health and Comfort Pain, dryness, and changes in sensation are all valid medical concerns, not just "something to live with." 7. Long-Term Surgical Follow-Up Even years later, things like scarring, structural changes, or rare complications can come up. 8. Hormones Hormones affect genital tissue. And OB/GYNs can often help monitor how estrogen affects tissue health. Additionally, they can prescribe hormone replacement therapy. The point is really simple. A trans woman doesn't require a uterus in order to see an OB/GYN. She benefits from seeing one because she has a body that deserves competent, specialized medical care. This isn't complicated. It's just healthcare.
