Reporting on actor Olivia Munn’s cancer treatment inspired @InsideEdition’s Alison Hall (@AlisonReporting) to use a breast cancer risk assessment tool — which led to her own breast cancer diagnosis. Now, Hall will be undergoing a double mastectomy: “I will be tackling the current cancer that I have head on and I will also be doing this to dramatically decrease my risk for future cancer.”

my favorite new york social code is when a lone person needs to get a stroller up the subway stairs. nearly instantly, a stranger picks up the other end of the stroller, helps carry it up, then departs as quickly as they appeared. no words are exchanged. eye contact is minimal.

@KTmBoyle I'm lucky that I was both a theatre/debate kid AND played sports. Such valuable lessons from all of it.

One of my more controversial beliefs on raising children is that you probably want to raise theater kids. Theater, debate, speech, song, something that requires performance in front of a room full of people, alone with a spotlight, where if you fail you fail alone. Learning the embarrassment of forgetting a line or your notes as a kid— and moving on from it —is a valuable skill that’s harder to learn and gets more painful with age. Sports won’t teach a kid this.

In 2020 my neighbor got a piano. I would hear her at 6am every few days. It was brutal the first year yall Today in 2024, I woke up to her playing a Concerto. I want to cry, please keep trying. What an honor it has been to hear this journey
