@Kachidey4you Originally the avatar state was all past lives becoming active in 1 form. Aang BARELY overpowered them and took control back right before they were gonna kill Ozai.
Korra writers COMPLETELY lost that and instead interpreted it as a "power up"

That’s the beauty of it, Aang “WOULD’VE” ended the Avatar cycle there, Korra’s goofy ass “ENDED” the avatar cycle 😭😭

@naMnaSYt She fights like a brawler and not a child prodigy. It's so disappointing. She also heavily leans on fire despite it not being her natural element. She doesn't bring a pouch of water with her as prep; she's not that smart when it comes to tactical fighting.

What I mean when I say the Avatar writers can't powerscale. Aang is able to move so fast that he's barely visible to the naked eye, yet for some reason, a powerless Azula is able to outrun him. It's so blatantly contrived when you realize that he's keeping pace with Toph and Sokka when he's much faster than them. Poorly written sequence that breaks the powersystem, just to gas Azula.

The creators projected their unresolved trauma of not getting the girl and ruined the flow of the story in the final act. Aang needed to let go of worldly attachment in order to get into the avatar state. But that rock in back was deux ex machina and we all know it
