Or its cuz he promotes a boring team comp where either he runs the lobby or whatever other tank has 0 agency and has to rely on their dps to do almost everything to beat the dino. He unironically makes the tank problem worse since no other tank is allowed to have fun when hes in

The only reason Dino is so hated right now is because he exposes incompetent DPS and boosted healers. He takes so much attention from the enemy team that if your DPS and strats aren't doing their job, you just fall over. But obviously, the plat peaks will disagree.
