In Delhi today, employers and workers presented their joint Roadmap for Responsible Business Conduct. This collaboration shows advancing decent work requires dialogue, shared responsibility, and action across enterprises & supply chains. @ILO is proud to support this milestone.

The gender pay gap remains stubbornly high, with women earning on average 20% less than men globally. Action to promote #equalpay for work of equal value is needed, alongside measures to address the undervaluation of jobs where women are overrepresented. #EqualPayDay #EPIC

Millions in Asia-Pacific still earn below a living wage. At the @ILO’s regional dialogue in Colombo, 16 countries committed to wage systems that deliver dignity, equality & shared prosperity. Living wages are not aspirational—they’re achievable. 🔗 bit.ly/4nKE4r1

In my message to the Regional dialogue on shaping the living wage agenda in Asia and the Pacific, I emphasized that in a world marked by deep inequalities and rising costs of living, we need wages that allow workers not just to survive, but to live with dignity — a #LivingWage.
