@Tenzur_ @PalmyrPar You missed the point of such a game spitting on the GoW IP and neglecting the franchise. That would be like playing Tomb Raider without Lara Croft. If you keep on altering and expanding something you may turn it into something completely different and miss what made it good.

@hsnertt34 @myigittr @ScouTurk The colonized the world but also were the first to fix their wrongdoing by ending slavery, providing minority rights etc. The Ottoman imperialist system colonized North Africa, the Middle East and the Balkans and did nothing for progress. @hsnertt34 @myigittr @ScouTurk Firstly, it was Europe that ended slavery. Secondly, the flawed European system at the time was still far superior to the backwards Ottoman one. Look at Greece which was occupied by both the Ottomans and the Venetians. Venice occupied Greece ended up far more advanced.

@Anzelios @myigittr @ScouTurk We used both Persian and Turkish languages. Our sultans in Anatolia learned Latin. Now we are learning English and Turkish. We have forgotten other languages, but we still speak Turkish. 😂😂😂

@hsnertt34 @myigittr @ScouTurk There was no democracy in the modern sense but there was tremendous progress on many fronts. It is called the Renaissance. And after that came the Age of Discovery.

@hsnertt34 @myigittr @ScouTurk These were not great states though. Nothing great came out of them. No science, no medicine, no liberties, no philosophy. These were militaristic and expansionist states. Hordes of armies consuming neighboring states. Not even the Turks benefited from that.

@Anzelios @myigittr @ScouTurk For thousands of years, Turks fought amongst themselves. In 1402, the owners and rulers of all the great states you see here were Turks. Our internal conflicts will not change our history or our DNA.

And even if the 60 percent was in fact Turkish that doesn't mean people of Turkish origin didn't oppress other Turkish people. The injustices against the Turkmen committed by privileged Turks can't be overlooked.

Or the German or Irish immigrants? Also, American is a civic term. Turks are Turks. Anatolians though may or may not be Turks.
