Hey guys, I'm the creator of that one silly Applecat meme. I figure i can do a little write-up to sort of explain the origins of that silly little goober and how it came to be. So back in march 2020 i was hanging out with my friend who then happened to have a banana pfp from little big planet which inspired me to make the silly cat since we were kinda avid users of that one sadcat emote, that's how the little guy was born. I honestly didn't really know it got any popular for the longest time! first time i heard was back in around 2023 i think? , where a friend of mine mentioned it and mentioned about it becoming a Worldwide Sensation lol. Years passed and i suppose it just kept getting bigger huh? I've been seeing it a bunch randomly it feels bizarre honestly. anyway at one point we were researching just how the image got out of the server which was then pretty private and we found some links on a Korean wiki of all things.
